By judgment of 12th May 1998 - 312 O 85/98 "Liability for Links" the District Court in Hamburg has decided that in certain circumstances by placing a link on a website the owner of the website assumes liability for the content of the linked page. This can be avoided only if owners of websites expressly dissociate themselves from the content of the linked pages. Accordingly, we dissociate ourselves from all content on linked pages, on the underlying servers, on pages on other linked websites, in guest books and from all other visible and non-visible content. If one of the pages on the respective servers breaches any applicable laws, we know nothing of this. Naturally, if we are made aware of any such breach, we will remove the link to the respective server.
